The Parent You've Been Waiting For
A workshop on releasing the parent you wished for
Are you still secretly hoping your parent will finally show up the way you always needed?
Maybe you keep giving them chances. Maybe you tell yourself you have no expectations anymore — but somehow, every call, every visit, every holiday still leaves you feeling hijacked all over again.
You're not imagining it. And you're not alone in it.
This workshop is for adult children who are burnt out, resentful, and exhausted by their relationship with their parents — whether you're still struggling to admit your parent might not be who you need them to be, you already know but feel riddled with guilt, or you've just stopped trying because the conflict never feels worth it.
Here is what we will do together:
We'll start by naming what your parent failed to give you — not with blame or bitterness, but with honesty and acceptance. Then we'll do the harder, braver work: grieving the parent you wished for, so you can finally stop waiting for them to become someone they're not.
From there, we'll look at your actual parent — clearly, factually, without the fantasy in the way — and you'll leave with real clarity on what kind of relationship you actually want, and what you're going to do about it.
What you'll walk away with:
The ability to finally acknowledge what was missing, without guilt. A path to begin grieving the parent you needed. Clear eyes to decide what relationship works for you — practical only, tapered, no contact, or something in between. And the relief of no longer setting yourself on fire to keep someone else warm.
What's included:
A live 2 hour workshop on Zoom with guided exercises, including a guided imagery experience and a symbolic release practice. A workbook sent before the workshop to help you prepare. Access to the replay for 48-72 hours if you can't make it live.
Investment: $97 founding member rate (this price increases after this first cohort)
Spots: Limited to 30 participants
This is not a one-and-done fix.
Grief continues beyond these two hours — but this is where you stop waiting, and start moving.
